Gyllyngvase is a sandy beach with a gentle slope down to the water. Sometimes it can be a bit stoney depending on the sea conditions in the previous weeks. There is grass at the back of the beach which you may wish to change on.
The sea is usually (but not always) calm- this depends on wind and swell direction and each week we will assess the conditions and decide what feels safe in terms of our water entry.
We will also be able to take direction from the Lifeguards as they will be on patrol from May 17th.
Please note that it is a public beach and we will be leaving our bags on the beach. Please consider leaving valuables in the car or at home if you prefer.
