Session dates and times
- Introductory session: The 9th of May 2025 from 11:30-14:30
- Swim sessions: Sessions will run from the 16th of May to the 4th of July 2025
- Fridays 11:30 – 12:30

Transport links
On foot:
- We are short walk away (0.3mi, 6-10 min walk) from the village of Bishampton. Be aware that the route travels along a rural road without pavements along Broad Lane.
- Once leaving the village, continue on broad Lane from Bishampton past Main Street junction (right) and a solar farm (left). Watersedge is on the left-hand side, where the entrance is easily visible from the road.
- 565 Bus from Evesham Bus Station- Bishampton Post Office. (Mon-Sat, travel time approx. 60-70mins). Please check local times.
- 564 Bus From Pershore (adj Abbey Tea Rooms)- Bishampton Post Office. (Monday-Friday, travel time approx. 20-30mins). Please check local times.
- If you have concerns regarding walking from Bishampton to our site please contact us, as we may be able to facilitate a short car shuttle service from Bishampton Post Office.

- Free onsite parking available and located at the entrance to the site
Swimming experience needed
- We welcome, dippers and swimmers. We are able to offer both a dipping area in our lake, close to the entrance and sauna’s. Whether you are a new or seasoned swimmer, our aim is to build your confidence in open water, so that you can feel relaxed and enjoy the beauty of the lake and its surroundings. Accessibility of venue
The general lake site is relatively level with a gravel carpark and pathways.
- Access to the Suzy Howard Studio is via a ramp.
- Access to the Stretch Tent (changing area) is via a step or a small slope.
- Access to the lake is via a gently slope/matted path, with rope rail.
- Access to toilets is via a threshold step.

Facilities (including where you can get changed)
- 11 acre lake spring fed lake.
- Heated studio with lake panoramic views.
- Large, heated stretch/changing tent.
- 2x wood fired saunas.
- Fire pit.
- Outdoor shower (cold).
- Indoor heated shower.
- Toilets with separate men’s urinal.
- Accessible toilet/single person changing space.
What to bring with you
- We encourage you to bring your own kit, see below, however, we have an emergency cold swimmer kit and can offer swimmers the loan of a silicone or woolly hat if required.
- Basic pre/post Swim Kit: Swim wear (swimwear/trunks), swim cap/woolly hat (x2 if one is worn during the swim), towel/change robe, warm loose layers, warm coat/accessories (gloves/warm socks), flip flops/sliders (accessing lake entrance).
- Tow Float: Required for all swimmers and will be loaned on site during the study sessions free of charge.
- Additional suggested Items: Googles, neoprene swim shoes/socks, neoprene gloves, wetsuit/swimwear, change robe/dryrobe, hot water bottle, re-usable thermal cup, water bottle.
