Heather Massey
Senior Lecturer
Heather is a Senior Lecturer in human environmental physiology and studies how the cold affects our body.
Prior to this project, she worked alongside other members of the team undertaking preparatory studies for this one. Heather is an outdoor swimmer and using the water as a reset, she has learned of the impact that outdoor swimming has had on many people’s mental health and wants to move the research forwards.
