Session dates and times (2024):
- Monday evenings from 16:00. Starting September 9th
Control Course dates and times (2025):
- Monday evenings starting 19th May at 16:00pm. No session on 26th May.

- Jubilee Pool, Battery Road, Penzance, TR18 4FF
- Location to meet: We are located on the east side of Penzance Promenade next to Penzance harbour.

Control course details:
Location will vary. It’ll be either in the sea beside Jubilee Pool or in the basin behind the harbour – this will be determined by sea and tide conditions each week.

By Train
Great Western Railway operates nearby at Penzance train station (approx. half a mile from the pool, 10-15mins walk ).
By Bus
Buses operate into and out of the bus station (next to the train station) and along Market Jew Street (a 5 minute walk into the town centre). The M6 Mousehole bus also operates along the Prom and is operated by First Kernow.

Carpark opposite: St Anthony’s Carpark.

Parking information
Free on-street parking is available on the Prom and surrounding streets on a first come, first served basis. Other paid-for car parks are nearby including St Antony’s Gardens and Wharfside Car Park.
Control course (2025) details:
They have currently closed the car park opposite jubilee pool due to building works. We’ll provide an update about car park options in the zoom meeting.
Swimming experience needed
None needed. Swimmers and non swimmers welcome. Water entry will be into shallow and deep water depending on tides and location.
Accessibility of venue
There is ramped access to the site from the road.
The Main pool has step entry and ladders. There is a handrail to the steps.
There are accessible changing rooms and toilet facilities but no hoist.
Control Course (2025) details:
There is a short walk and either a ramp or a few steps depending on which location we use each week. This will be determined by the sea conditions and the tide.
Facilities (including where you can get changed)
There are public toilets a short walk away. Changing will be open air beside the water.
What to bring with you
Swimsuit/ trunks/ shorts/ towel/wetsuit if applicable, loose layers to put on after the dip including headgear, gloves/ medication required such as inhaler/epipen etc.
We can provide noodles and tow floats.
