Session dates and times
- The course will be a mixture of activities in the sea and outdoor pool.
- 5th June start date
- 12:30-13:30 lunchtime course for beginner level swimmers
- 18:00-19:00 evening course for intermediate to more advanced swimmers

- Location to meet: First week outside the entrance to Sea lanes and we will greet you and bring you to the meeting room to meet the other participants
Transport links
There is a bike system in Brighton, which allows people to ‘pay as you go’ on the Beryl Bikes, with stations near to Sea Lanes. There are also ample places to lock your own bikes.
Marine Parade which runs parallel to Madeira Drive, is served regularly by buses that come from Brighton station, all across Brighton and as far as Worthing/Lancing and Peacehaven. It is a five minute walk from the nearest bus stop to Sea Lanes

Brighton Marina is a 15 minute walk away and provides free parking for 4 hours.
It is also a very pleasant walk along the seafront to reach Sea Lanes!
Directions by car
Madeira drive is a one-way street allowing car to travel eastbound from the roundabout at Palace pier to Duke’s Mound (which is opposite the halfway station to Volks Electric Railway)
Parking information
Parking is available outside Sea Lanes, however it’s not possible to guarantee spaces and parking is circa £3 an hour on pay and display (pay by phone app). You can also park on marina parade where spaces are available. There is also 4 hours free parking at Brighton Marina which is 15 minutes walk away.
Swimming experience needed
Able to swim 50m (2 lengths of a normal pool)
Accessibility of venue
- Ramp access to facility and stairs in to the water.
- There is also a water mat which aids access into the sea.
Facilities (including where you can get changed)
Please come changed for the session and we will change on the beach afterwards, however we can arrange changing facilities for anyone who needs or would like them.
There is also an on site café toilets, meeting room (where you can store valuables), cold water showers
What to bring with you
Sun cream, swimming costume, towels, wetsuit/neoprene as required, warm clothes, beach shoes, goggles.
We will provide a warm drink and cake for afterwards so pls let us know if you have any dietary requirements
