Rayrigg Meadow is a 20-minute walk from Windermere village.
Windermere railway station is on a direct line to Kendal and Oxenholme Lake District, with easy access from Bolton, Preston, Manchester and across the north west. Direct trains from London and major Scottish cities call at Oxenholme Lake District. Trains to and from Windermere station run hourly. Plan your journey on the National Rail website.
Windermere station is also a hub for bus services connecting Windermere village with Kendal, Keswick, Coniston, Grasmere, Keswick, Ulverston and other destinations across Cumbria.
Rayrigg Meadow can be reached by bus from Bowness or Windermere on the 555 route. The 555 route links Windermere and Bowness with Kendal, Ambleside, Grasmere and Keswick.
