Session dates and times
- Introductory Session: Thursday May 29th 7pm via Zoom
- Swim Sessions: Sessions will start on the 9th of June 2025
- Mondays at 6:15pm
Location (including where to meet)
- Widewater Beach, Widewater Car Park off West Beach Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, BN43 5LS
- Meet location: Hut 108, Widewater Lagoon at Western end of Widewater Car Park.

Transport links
- By public transport: 700 and N700 Coastliner bus stops on the A259 Brighton Road, then short walk to the beach hut. Nearest train station – Lancing, or Shoreham.
- By car: Take the A259 west from Shoreham, over River Adur at Norfolk Bridge. At Saltings Roundabout (Shell Garage and Longshore Pub), take first exit into the Saltings, then first right onto Beach Green, then straight on to Kings Crescent, follow this until the sea front, turn right onto West Beach Road, follow the road into the car park (limited height for cars only) go to far western end of car park.
Parking information
- Good size car park, pay by cash or card at machine, or by Ringo App (app recommended) for 2 hour (approx £2), or all day stay (approx £4). It is also possible to park on a side street off the A259 and walk
Swimming experience needed
- Must be comfortable swimming 50m unaided.
Accessibility of venue
- Car park and access to Beach Hut generally flat and accessible, however beach is shingle and shelves.

Facilities (including where you can get changed)
- Changing will be in the beach hut, or on the area around, so in the open, however gear can be left safely at the beach hut.
- Public toilet facilities 400m away.
What to bring with you
- Bring swim wear you are comfortable in.
- Wetsuit and non-wetsuit swimmers welcome.
- Optional swim hat and googles
- Towel
- Water shoes/boots recommended for shingle.
- Warm clothes and shoes for changing in to afterwards.
